This 8 hour course is presented in a computer lab to allow hands on training. Our QuickBooks Advisor instructor provides training and demonstrates the how's and why''s. Our goal during this QuickBooks Pro Class is to prepare you with the tools and understanding you need to take advantage of the power QuickBooks Pro offers. We will cover: setting up a company & working with lists, Entering & Paying Bills, customizing forms, & using other QuickBooks accounts, Creating Reports & Graphics, Tracking & Paying sales Tax, and doing payroll. Questions are welcomed and customized solutions are provided throughout the day. A detailed manual of all topics is provided to the attendee to return to the office with, no need for notes. Our SBDC trainers are local and are available to provide one on one support after the seminar. Many QuickBooks users have mentioned that finding a QuickBooks PRO expert local to their business has not only made their lives easier, but has also made a big difference to their efficiency and their management information.

Creating a profitable business that works for you is about changing the way you look at your business and how you run your business. We have brought together 3 international coaching organizations (ActionCOACH: www.actioncoach.com , E-Myth Worldwide: www.e-myth.com, The Alternative Board: www.thealternativeboard.com) to deliver an action-packed, 6-session group coaching program that is guaranteed to bridge the gap between frustration and fruit-bearing business. Application is required to join this high-powered group of motivated business owners. Limited to 15 businesses. Apply early for best chance to be selected. Only one business per business sector is allowed (i.e. architect or accountant) so that participants can share ideas freely. Other criteria: at least 3 years in business, at least $50,000 in revenue. The goal of the workshop is to assist business owners in acquiring knowledge regarding the loan application process. The workshop will define terms, discuss lending options, and review qualifications for a loan. This 90 minute workshop will focus on the small business lending process. The workshop will occur quarterly throughout the year and will utilize one of four financial institutions each quarter to provide bank insights on the lending process. The presenter will be a small business lender and the topics will coincide with the Mastering Business Loan Proposals book produced by the SBTDC. Each participant will receive a Mastering Business Loan Proposal book at the workshop. The topics covered will be: Understanding a Lender, Expectations, Understanding Loan Alternatives, Understanding Documentation Required for Loan Applications
